What This Two-Month-Old Puppy Found On A Very First Walk Shocked His Owner

There is probably not a better feeling in this world than saving a puppy and giving it a new chance to live its life.

Seeing their faces transform from a frown to happy over time is one of the most rewarding things ever. They are our best friends and it’ll always be amazing to see them so happy.

For Suzette Hall, she had been in rescue for a long time and has saved countless dogs from the horrible street life.

In one of her newer rescues, she had to save a pup who was all alone after being dumped by her owner near a swap meet in California.

After Hall was notified about a puppy who was abandoned near a populated area, she immediately went there to find him.

Because her van was in the shop, she had to borrow her mom’s car to go and rescue the puppy. A friend of hers, Rebecca Stranbridge, joined her in this mission as well.

Now that they were there, they noticed this puppy just sitting there and she was terrified of other people.

The very second anyone got close to her, she would start backing away as she didn’t know what their intentions were.

Who could have heartlessly abandoned this poor puppy like this? I can’t even begin to imagine what she must have gone through.

However, no hope was lost, as her rescuers were there and they were going to do their best for her.

It started raining soon after they arrived and the puppy just disappeared, probably to find some sort of shelter.

After some investigating, Hall found out that the puppy would go to the swap meet in California every day when people set up because she hoped they would give her some food.

But, she didn’t ever let anyone get too close to her even when they wanted to help. There were a lot of buildings around the swap meet, as well as a railroad.

The pup would often go there to hide from the bad weather. So, in order to prepare, Hall placed a trap on her usual spot to see if she would go for it.

However, the puppy never arrived. Hall wondered where she was, but knew she would have to adapt to the situation.

She placed another trap on the other side of the swap meet and asked one of the vendors to keep an eye on it.

15 minutes later, he called Hall on the phone and told her that the puppy was now secure. She breathed a sigh of relief.

She ran back to the swap meet and immediately thanked the person who helped secure the puppy.

After this, the puppy, now named Devine, was taken into her car and she was now on her way to a new life.

While we don’t know what happens next in this puppy’s story, I am sure that Hall will do everything to help her find a forever home soon.
