The Rock’s Discipline Inspires Admiration: Better to Skip the Classic Khabib vs Gaethje Match Than to Skip a Gym Session

Former wrestler The Rock accepts being “ancient” rather than losing muscle.

On October 25, the whole world focused on the UFC 254 event where Khabib Nurmagomedov had a great battle with Justin Gaethje. As a former wrestler and still active in the martial arts industry, The Rock is of course also extremely excited about this confrontation.

But unfortunately, the competition started again at 2pm US time, coinciding with the weekend practice of the former WWE champion. After a careful measurement, The Rock decided to sacrifice the “super classic” battle of the martial arts village to rush into the gym to “practice”.

The Rock decided to take a break from watching the Khabib vs Gaethje match to go to the gym

“I was about to hit the gym but the UFC 254 event just started. The fight is going on at 2pm, it’s frustrating. Good luck fighters. Let’s make a great event. I have to prioritize. practice but will update the situation by phone anyway,” The Rock wrote on its personal page. Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement

The American actor’s post immediately received the attention of the people. Many fans expressed admiration for The Rock’s discipline. “You’re the hardest gymer I’ve ever known,” flores account shared. “Listen to him, I think I can’t miss practice today,” another viewer commented.

Muscles are better, but The Rock missed the moment when Khabib got his 29th career win. The Russian boxer collapsed on the floor crying after this result. This is the first time Khabib has had to compete without the companionship of his father, Abdulmanap. In July, Mr. Abdulmanap passed away from complications of Covid-19.

Khabib defeated Gaethje with a lock in the second round.
