Season 1: “The One With the Blackout”

During a blackout, Chandler’s best season 1 moment involved getting stuck in an ATM vestibule with Victoria’s Secret model Jill Goodacre (playing herself). In the voiceover, Chandler became fixated on how to approach her. He then called Joey and explained the scenario to him through incomprehensible sounds. The key takeaway from this episode: “If Jill Goodacre offers you gum, you take it. If she offers you mangled animal carcass, you take it.”

“The One After the Superbowl: Part 2”

In this episode of Season 2, Julia Roberts had a guest appearance as Susie “Underpants” Moss, a former elementary school classmate of Chandler’s who got her moniker after the younger Chandler made her feel embarrassed by pulling up her skirt and baring her underwear in front of the entire class. She had her retribution decades later when she went on a date with Chandler, tricked him into changing into underwear in a restaurant toilet, stole his clothes, and abandoned him.

Season 3: “The One With the Hypnosis Tape”

Chandler’s attempt to utilise a hypnosis DVD to help him stop smoking was his most memorable season 3 mishap. It turns out that the tape was designed to assist female smokers in quitting, but even so, it was effective. Chandler took to heart the advice to abstain from smoking as well as the notion that he was a “strong, confident woman.”

Season 4: “The One With Chandler in a Box”

Chandler’s most noteworthy season 4 cameo saw him spending the traditional Thanksgiving episode in a wooden box, attempting to win Joey’s forgiveness after kissing Kathy (Paget Brewster), Joey’s girlfriend. Chandler was barely noticeable, save for the odd finger.

Season 5: “The One Where Everybody Finds Out”

Upon discovering that Rachel and Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) were aware of their relationship, Monica and Chandler attempted to coerce the women into disclosing the truth. When Phoebe and Rachel discovered that Chandler and Monica knew that they knew, Phoebe made up an interest in Chandler in an attempt to get him to come clean about their relationship.

Season 6: “The One on the Last Night”

Worried about Joey’s money, Chandler created a card game called “Cups,” coming up with a new justification for giving Joey money with every hand they played. He managed to lose $1,500 to Joey, who lost it all when he taught Ross (David Schwimmer) the fictitious game.

Season 7: “The One With Phoebe’s Cookies”

When Chandler attempts to play racquetball with Ross and Monica’s father Jack (Elliott Gould) in season 7, he suffers a fit of panic. Following the match, they entered the steam room, where Chandler inadvertently sat on his future father-in-law’s (also nude) lap, momentarily rendering him blind from the fog on his glasses.

Season 8: “The One Where Chandler Takes a Bath”

Monica got Chandler addicted to taking baths, but he didn’t have the same flair for drawing them himself. He sneaked into her bath before she had time to prepare it, and when Ross and Rachel revealed that they were expecting a girl, Chandler’s buddies gathered around him, sitting in the bathtub with a toy boat.

Season 9: “The One With the Mugging”

Chandler obtained an internship at an advertising agency in season nine after realizing he wanted to change careers, no one really cared what he did for a living. Despite feeling elderly in comparison to his younger coworkers, the generational divide gave him the idea for a clever tagline for a terrible pair of sneakers.

Season 10: “The One With Ross’s Grant”

Julia played Chandler Bing’s love interest in Friends

After lying to Joey about watching a Japanese commercial for a beauty product featuring Joey, Chandler was made to wear blue lipstick and call himself “a pretty little girl” in an attempt to atone for his hurtful actions and to reconnect with his feminine side.

Chandler was definitely one of the funnier friends. In the final episode, right before he and Monica left for the suburbs with their twin babies the gang suggested getting a final coffee together. Chandler, being the one-line king himself said: where?
