PH๏τographed on the beach in Cannes, France, during a trip with then-husband Brad Pitt, Aniston says she once viewed working out as a chore. “I was disconnected from my body,” the actress told Self in 2006 of her Friends days. “I was just getting my exercise out of the way.”
Aniston showed off her shoulders in a halter ʙικιɴι top in the Caribbean island of Anguilla. Once yoga instructor Mandy Ingber got her hooked on the zen workout, Aniston loved the results. “My legs got leaner. My arms got strong. I’ve maybe even grown half an inch from aligning my spine,” she said.
“I’m a realist. I know that if I eat nothing but burgers and chips, I’m not going to be hired for the parts I normally would,” Aniston, on vacation in Mexico, has said. “That might be fine one day, but not right now.”
Aniston says she isn’t shy about showing more skin as she ages. “I feel more comfortable today than I ever did in my twenties or early thirties,” the actress (in Miami) told GQ. “I am more at peace in my mind and with my body.”
Aniston enlists celeb yoga instructor Ingber to stay lean. “[Yoga] completely changed my life,” the actress (poolside in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico) admits in Ingber’s Yogalosophy instructional DVD. “It’s one of the most fun workouts I’ve ever had.”
“I’m at ease — and not just with my age,” says Aniston (celebrating her 40th birthday in Cabo) of getting older. “I’ve never felt this good about myself before. I think that shines through.”
The Bounty Hunter star accessorized a teeny purple suit with a straw hat while sunbathing in Cabo.
The actress, who turns 41 Feb. 11, showed off a black and brown suit in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Feb. 7 during a pre-birthday trip with BFFs Sheryl Crow and Courteney Cox. Aniston’s rumored beau, Bounty Hunter costar Gerard Butler, was also spotted sunbathing.
Aniston looked simply stunning as she kicked back poolside on Christmas Eve while on vacation in one of her usual spots — Cabo San Lucas, Mexico — in December 2012. Wearing a green ʙικιɴι, the star was later spotted kissing and holding hands with her soon-to-be hubby Justin Theroux.
