After Osborn revealed that he knew Peter was Spider-Man, he told him that he would keep his secret. It still haunts Peter, even when he returns home. Nico offers to go to the movies with Peter, but he tells her he’s going to dinner with Osborne. In an empty restaurant, Peter tries to tell Osborn that he’s not Spider-Man, but he sees through his lie. He reveals that after rescuing his son Harry, he began putting together possible candidates for Spider-Man, eventually coming up with Amadeus, Jeanne, Ash, and Peter himself. He offers his services, but Peter politely declines. Osborn leaves the door open and gives a check just in case.
